Antwerp Baroque 2018 Opening Weekend

The opening weekend of ‘Antwerp Baroque 2018. Rubens inspires’ kicks off on the 1st of June! Come to the MAS and learn about ‘Michaelina’, the leading lady of 17th-century painting. Admire the solo exhibition of the young Antwerp photographer Athos Burez, and take in the party spirit with a visit to the new exhibition 'Celebration!'

The MAS welcomes the leading lady of Baroque: ‘Michaelina’, an artist that grew up in a period when female artists were the exception rather than the rule. Besides Michaelina, the young Antwerp photographer Athos Burez will showcase his first solo exhibition in the MAS: ‘Baroque Burez’.
